EP055 inhibits a-EAb from binding EPPIN with an IC50 of 1121 uM.
EP055 inhibits sperm motility in Macaca mulatta males, demonstrating a potentially strong contraceptive effect.
The sperm surface protein EPPIN is a reasonable non-hormonal contraceptive target.
