FQI1 is a small-molecule inhibitor of transcription factor LSF with IC50 of 2.1 uM; inhibits LSF DNA-binding activity both in vitro, also exhibits antiproliferative activity in multiple cell lines, NIH 3T3, HeLa S3, and A549 cells with GI50 of 3.8, 0.79, and 6.3 uM, respectively; inhibits HCC tumor growth in a mouse xenograft model.
