FQI2 is a small-molecule inhibitor of transcription factor LSF with IC50 of 0.71 uM; inhibits LSF DNA-binding activity both in vitro, also exhibits antiproliferative activity in multiple cell lines, NIH 3T3, HeLa S3, and A549 cells with GI50 of 0.71, 0.40, and 1.6 uM, respectively; rapidly induces cell death in QGY-7703 liver cancer cell lines.
