A small molecule furin inhibitor with Ki of 22 nM; shows comparable potency against furin and PC6B (Ki=22 nM), displays >10-fold selectivity over furin-related human PCs, such as PC7, LF and PACE4, and no activity on trypsin; strongly inhibits PA processing with EC50 values of 4.2 uM, shows no significant cytotoxicity to the cells at concentrations up to 250 uM.
