Biological Activity
GLEPP1 inhibitor 1 is a potent, selective and cell-permeable inhibitor of protein-tyrosine phosphatase φ/GLEPP1 with Ki of 0.47 uM and IC50 of 123 nM.
GLEPP1 inhibitor 1 displays relative selectivity toward GLEPP1 with weak activity against PTP1B (IC50=589 nM) and little to no activity against other 10 human PTPs.
GLEPP1 inhibitor 1 prevents cellular dephosphorylation of Syk and paxillin in human DHL10 lymphoma cells.
GLEPP1 inhibitor 1 blocks cellular chemotaxis in cellular assays for MCP-1-directed chemotaxis of primary human monocytes.
GLEPP1 inhibitor 1 prevents thioglycolate-induced peritoneal recruitment of leukocytes.
GLEPP1 inhibitor 1 (30 mg/kg) reduces DSS-induced ulcerative colitis in vivo.
