IMM-H007 (H007, WS070117) is a novel lipid-lowering agent and AMPK activator, reduces serum lipid levels and inhibits lipid accumulation both in vitro and in vivo.
IMM-H007 (WS070117) (10 μM) inhibited cellular lipid accumulation induced by Oleic acid (0.25 mM).
IMM-H007 (WS070117) (0.1-10 uM) up-regulated AMPK signaling in OLA-induced steatosis in HepG2 cells, IMM-H007 (WS070117) (6 and 18 mg/kg) treatment also upregulated hepatic cellular AMPK phosphorylation in HFD fed hamsters.
IMM-H007 also activated AMPK and markedly suppressed AngII-induced TGF-β1 expression in human cardiac fibroblasts-adult ventricular, alleviated AngII-induced cardiac fibrosis by regulating AMPK-TGF-β1 signaling.
