LI-2242 is a potent pan-IP6K inhibitor with IC50 of 31, 42 and 8.1 nM for IP6K1, IP6K2 and IP6K3, respectively.
LI-2242 (20 mg/kg/BW daily, i.p.) ameliorates obesity in DIO mice via a specific reduction in body fat, without substantially altering lean and fluid mass.
LI-2242 improves glycemic parameters in DIO mice.
LI-2242 treatment improves metabolic parameters in the adipose tissue of DIO mice.
LI-2242 treatment ameliorates steatosis, insulin resistance, and injury of the liver in DIO mice.
LI-2242 alters the metabolic parameters of adipocytes and hepatocytes in vitro.
