LM-1685 is a potent and selective cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitor with IC50 of 0.65 uM for COX-2 from human monocytes, with limited acitivty for COX-1.
Combination of Carboxyamido-triazole (CAI) and LM-1685 produces a cytotoxic effect by suppressing proliferation and triggering apoptosis in cancer cells.
LM-1685 also binds to LMO7 (LIM Domain 7) and inhibits OA progression.
