Biological Activity

MR2938 is a potent, selective acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitor with IC50 of 5.04 uM, suppresses NO production in RAW 264.7 cells with IC50 of 3.29 uM.
MR2938 is more potent than Dexamethasone with an IC50 value of 11.5 uM.
MR2938 is able to significantly blocking the LPS-induced expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-1β, TNF-α, IL-6 and CCL2 in BV2 cells.
MR2938 exerts the anti-inflammatory effects through the NF-κB and MAPK/JNK signaling pathways.
