NIO-1 repressed OCT1 activation by repressing recruitment of OCT1 to the binding sites of the promoter region of its downstream genes.
NIO-1 inhibited recruitment of OCT1 to the promoter region of its downstream genes containing OCT binding sites.
NIO-1 enhanced the sensitivity of ESCC cells to chemotherapeutic agents.
