Biological Activity

PRLX 93936 (PRLX-93936) is a potent small molecule inhibitor of HIF-1α transcriptional factor with IC50 of 0.09 uM, shows with broad antitumor activity in vitro.
PRLX 93936 is highly active against 32 out of 57 NCI cell lines (GI50 < 1 uM).
PRLX 93936 (1 uM) completely suppressed HIF-1α accumulation.
PRLX 93936 shows synergistic antitumor effects with cisplatin on NSCLC cell lines.
