Biological Activity

RTI-19318-32 is a potent, specific full agonist of G protein-coupled receptor 3 (GPR3) with EC50 of 260 nM and Emax of 90%.
RTI-19318-32 selectively increases cAMP accumulation in cells overexpressing GPR3, but not GPR6, GPR12, or in HEK293 cells alone.
RTI-19318-32 is able to increase cAMP accumulation in the GPR3 Y188R mutant similar to the wildtype receptor.
RTI-19318-32 attenuates nicotine intake in both male and female mice through GPR3 targeted mechanisms.
