TXX-1-10 (CB1-8) is a small chemical molecule that inhibits HPIP oncoprotein expression, suppresses breast cancer cell growth and metastasis in vitro and in vivo.
TXX-1-10 reduces HPIP expression and exerts antiproliferation effect in a HPIP-dependent manner in ZR75-1 cells.
TXX-1-10 exhibites a more effective inhibition compared with rimonabant in MDA-MB-231 and ZR-751 cells (IC50=2.2-7.0 uM).
TXX-1-10 induces G1 cell cycle arrest and apoptosis in breast cancer cells.
TXX-1-10 inhibits breast cancer cell migration and invasion in vitro, regulates genes related to cell proliferation and invasion.
TXX-1-10 (30 mg/kg) suppresses breast tumor growth and metastasis in vivo.
