Oral administration of UAB126 prevents HFD-induced obesity and increases fatty acid oxidation.
UAB126 modulates genes that are involved in lipolysis and proinflammatory response in WAT, and prevents HFD-induced insulin resistance and HFD-induced hepatic steatosis and hyperlipidemia.
UAB126 modulates gene expression profiles involved in glucose and lipid metabolism.
UAB126 suppresses hepatic lipogenic genes, including Srebp-1c, Pparγ2, and Scd1.
