ZNF207 inhibitor C16 is a small molecule inhibitor of Zinc Finger Protein 207 (ZNF207) with binding KD of 67 nM (SPR assays), inhibits glioma cancer cell stemness.
ZNF207 inhibitor C16 exhibits antiproliferative activity against glioma cells, has broad anticancer potential against cervical cancer (Hela), leukemia (U-937), NSCLC (A549 and H460), and stomach adenocarcinoma (MKN45 and AGS) cell lines (IC50 = 3.84-15.64 μM).
ZNF207 inhibitor C16 shows IC50 of 0.74, 1.23, 2.10, and 0.87 μM for H4, LN229, HS683, and U251MG cells for sphere-formation inhibition, respectively.
ZNF207 inhibitor C16 inhibits different stemness-related gene expressions in different glioma cells (EpCAM, OCT4, c-Myc, CD24, NANOG, SOX2, CD133, and BMI-1).
ZNF207 inhibitor C16 (15 or 45 mg/kg, oral) demonstrates in vivo antitumor efficacy of C16 in glioma subcutaneous models.
