Zinc13732787 is a selective inhibitor of KCNQ1/Kv7.1 potassium channel, without affecting KCNQ2/KCNQ3.
Zinc13732787 reduces neurite outgrowth in human neuronal stem cells (NSCs), mirroring the phenotype observed in homozygous KCNQ1-knockout cells.
Zinc13732787 does not affect NSC proliferation, nor does it induce cytotoxicity.
Zinc13732787 has no effect on neurite outgrowth in homozygous KCNQ1-knockout neuronal stem cells (NSCs), indicating high target specificity.
