LY-2940094 (BTRX 246040) is a novel potent, selective, CNS-penetrant, orally available NOP (Nociceptin/OFQ) receptor antagonist with Kb of 0.17 nM; displays high selectivity versus classical opioid receptors (μ, δ, and κ); inhibits fasting-induced feeding, inhibits feeding and body weight regain in dietary-induced obese mice; also shows antidepressant-like effects in rodent models and antidepressant efficacy in patients with major depressive disorder (MDD).
