An isoquinoline carboxamide that binds selectively to PBR (TSPO) with Ki of 3.1 nM in cerebellum, 4.1 nM in spinal cord; blocks binding of typical benzodiazepines to TSPO, inhibits proliferation, induces apoptosis and causes G 1/S cell cycle arrest in NB cell lines at micromolar concentrations.
