MS-049 is a potent, selective, and cell-active dual inhibitor of PRMT4 and PRMT6 with IC50 of 34±10 nM and 43±7 nM, respectively.
MS-049 displays >30-fold and >300-fold selectivity over PRMT8 and PRMT1/3, does not inhibits PKMTs, DNMTases, RNA methyltransferases.
MS-049 reduces the H3R2me2a mark in HEK293 cells with IC50 of 0.97 uM.
