Vanin-1 inhibitor is a potent, selective, oral Vanin-1 inhibitor with IC50 of 3.4 and 1.5 nM for human and mouse Vanin-1, respectively.
Vanin-1 inhibitor (Vanin-1-IN-2) displays 1,000-fold selectivity against human biotinidase (IC50=8.3 uM).
Vanin-1 inhibitor (Vanin-1-IN-2) slightly ameliorates redox homeostasis gene expression in IRI kidneys but fails to reduce overall oxidative stress level and kidney injury markers.
Vanin-1 inhibitor (Vanin-1-IN-2) is insufficient to restore kidney function in an alport syndrome mouse model involving tubular protein overload.
